Khao Tha Kian Ngo Viewpoint
This viewpoint is on Highway No. 2258, some 13 km from Khao Kho town. It offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the countrywide. Many visitors prefer to camp out here for the sunrise and early morning fog in the surrounding valleys.
Khao Tha Kian Ngo was the site of many fierce battles between government troops and the communist insurgents whose stronghold was located in the mountainous Khao Kho area. It is now a popular viewpoint from where you can see numerous hills and mountain ranges nearby.
Accommodation and camping sites are available, but we recommend you prepare your own food supplies.
